Banks increase overnight borrowing from ECB
FRANKFURT, Sept 1 (Reuters) – Commercial banks increased the
amount they borrowed from the European Central Bank’s emergency
overnight window on Wednesday, keeping it above 1.4 billion
euros for the third day running.
The central bank reported the following daily data on
liquidity provision, in millions of euros. Click ECB40 for

In June the ECB said it had completed its year-long covered
bond buying programme. [ID:nLDE65T1JZ] The total amount
purchased occasionally fluctuates due to valuation issues.
