Paula Abdul wishes Ellen DeGeneres “best of luck”

Washington, Sept 11 (ANI): Paula Abdul has wished talk show host Ellen DeGeneres best of luck for her stint in American Idol.

Fox television had announced that DeGeneres would sit alongside Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi in the new season of the talent show.

“I think Ellen will b a gr8 judge on Idol. The is wildly funny, talented and I wish her the best of luck!” Usmagazine quoted Abdul as saying on Twitter.

Abdul left the show in August after eight seasons.

In an interview on Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS-FM radio show, DeGeneres stressed that she’ll be an “honest” judge who will “bring compassion” to the show. (ANI)
