Wall St opened flat as caution before a Fed announcement was balanced against gains by computer maker Dell and a rebound in commodity prices
The Dow Jones industrial average dropped 12.57 points, or 0.10 pct, to 12,467.01
The Standard & Poor’s 500 Index shed 0.62 point, or 0.05 pct, to 1,328.36
The Nasdaq Composite Index lost 1.28 points, or 0.05 pct, to 2,781.93
